Emerald O'Hanrahan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Emerald O'Hanrahan Emerald O’Hanrahan is an English actress, best known for playing Emma Grundy in BBC Radio 4's ''The Archers''.〔〔 ==Biography == Born and raised in Cambridgeshire, she announced aged 3 to her parents that she wanted to be an actress.〔〔 Educated at St Mary's School, Cambridge, she took part in school and amateur productions, first playing Susan in ''The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe'' at aged 10, Juliet in a tour of ''Romeo and Juliet'' around East Anglia, and at the Cambridge Arts Theatre as Miranda in ''The Tempest''.〔〔 After studying for A Levels at the Long Road Sixth Form College, she then undertook a BA in Acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Where are they now? )〕 where she won the Carleton Hobbs Radio Drama Award.〔〔 On graduation in July 2009, she joined the BBC Radio Drama Company for five months,〔 taking part in more than 40 productions for BBC Radio 3, 4 and BBC Radio 4 Extra.〔 These brought her to the attention to the producers of ''The Archers'',〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Emma Grundy )〕〔 who were looking to recast the role of Emma Grundy in light of actress Felicity Jones's decision to depart.
